Welcome to Lounges Coffee Shop. We are an independent, family run business, located on the High Street of the beautiful town of Lymington. After spending our entire careers working in hotels, we decided to use our expertise from the kitchen and front of house to create a welcoming environment with tasty and freshly prepared food. We have now been at Lounges for 10 years, and over this time have perfected a selection of delicious homemade cakes, tray bakes and a savoury menu suited to all tastes.
We have a wonderful team, most of whom have been with us since before the pandemic. They love nothing more than to make you feel welcome and are trained to deliver high quality service and help with any specific requirements, dietary or otherwise. We believe that customer service is just as important as the products we are serving, therefore, our chatty and friendly staff are a key part of our ethos.
Our coffee shop is the perfect place to visit, whether you are shopping on the High Street or have just been on a coastal walk along the sea wall. The building itself is a wonderful Grade Two listed property, enriched with lots of history, creating a cosy atmosphere. With exposed oak beams and original wonky walls, the coffee shop has lots of character and rustic charm. Rumour has it that in the olden days, the cellars along the high street, including ours, were all linked to enable smugglers access to bring their wares up from the harbour (a five minute walk from us down the cobbled street).
We have a quaint courtyard behind the main shop, which during the summer months offers a peaceful and sunny area with outside seating. Dogs are more than welcome inside or out and are always offered a doggy treat on their visit!
We are open 7 days a week and do not take reservations, so you can just pop in when you are passing!
Monday-Saturday 8.30am - 4.30pm
Sunday 9.00am - 4.00pm
